The Odesma team is delighted to announce sponsorship of elite professional Ironman triathlete Harry Wiltshire!
Over the course of the past decade Harry has become a regular face at the International triathlon scene. He first surfaced as a professional athlete during his representation of Great Britain at the Junior World Championships in 2002. Following from this Harry has represented his country at Senior European and World Championship levels over both Sprint and Olympic distance triathlon.
Harry was short-listed for selection to the 2012 Olympic team with his training partners Jonathan and Alastair Brownlee but was ultimately not selected. He went on to win his first Ironman distance race the following year, having lead from gun to tape. His focus then shifted on to qualifying for, and competing at the World Ironman Championships.
Harry has raced extensively on the ETU World Series and World Cup circuits and achieved a personal best ranking within the top 25 in the world. In addition to this he can claim having raced at the Ironman World championships in Kona in 2014 placing 29th in the World.
Harry has recently been the face of major advertising campaigns for both HUUB and Triathlon Guard appearing in the triathlon press and main stream publications such as Men’s Fitness and Triathlon 220. He is a level 3 triathlon coach in addition to recently becoming a fully qualified barrister. He is currently based in Leeds where he trains as part of a small group of athletes including the Brownlee brothers.
This year Harry aims to qualify and compete in the World Championships in Kona with an aim of improving on his current best ranking of 29th. Harry is the 16th fastest ever British man over the Ironman race distance.
