The eWorld Procurement & Supply event was hosted on 3 October 2018 at the QEII Centre in Central London. Since 2001, the event has been providing senior procurement, supply chain and finance executives a preview of the latest technologies and innovations making a way into the world of procurement.

Ilija Ugrinic, Director, Proactis: Mr Ugrinic’s session was entitled End-to-End Procurement Automation – Key Strategic Trends and Hot Topics. This session covered the importance of procurement automation and how it helps organisations to ensure tangible savings and achieve their strategic needs.
Chris White, Director, Institute for Strategy, King’s College London: Mr White was the keynote speaker, and his address was Achieving Cultural Change Through Procurement: The Social Value Act. The presentation focused on describing how a Private Member’s Bill became an Act and how this act went on to influence commissioning at local and national level.
Andrew Yeaman, Director, Management Procurement Services, DHL: His session, How to Drive Meaningful Value from Outsourced Procurement: A Case Study, focused on outsourcing a portion the procurement to maximise performance and enjoy efficient spend control and quality.
Dr Sam De Silva, Partner, CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP: Dr De Silva’s session was Contracting for Robot Process Automation and dealt with the meaning of robot process automation and discussed a case study of a client.
